Vi glæder os helt vildt til denne kombination! Viper er et mix af alle de egenskaber vi elsker i en border collie, hvad angår temperament og arbejdsiver, og at han er helt igennem sund og rask, godt bygget og fantastiske vinkler, og utrolig smuk er bestemt en kæmpe bonus!
Vi synes Kiss og Viper er et fantastisk match, og komplimentere hinanden på alle punkter ! De er både forskellige og ens på samme tid, de ønskede kvaliteter er de samme for begge hunde, og temperament og med hensyn til arbejdsegenskaber komplimentere de hinanden virkelig godt!
Kryds fingre for hvalpe! Grundet covid19 er vi nødt til at bruge kølesæd, der sendes til Danmark, hvor Kiss efterfølgende bliver insemineret hos Canicold.
Julias beskrivelse af Viper:
Viper is a dog with wonderful and sweet character, my soul mate. In relation to adults he is very extroverted, friendly, really craves contact with them, loves to be petted and cuddled. In contact with children he is more careful, he doesn’t want to hurt them. But there’s no problem to recall him from people. Strangers are neutral and unnoticeable to him. During a meeting with dogs he’s submissive, not against knowing other dogs, but choose not to play with them. He isn’t afraid of thunderstorms, fireworks, motorbikes and so on. Every day he lives in the city, quickly and easily gets used to new surroundings. Travel with him is nice, he’s calm, quiet and practically invisible.
He easily learns new things, doesn’t require a lot of work and repetitions to understand what’s going on. I see that he likes a lot more tricks and activities that require movement and dynamics than static exercises. Already as a puppy he ran extremely fast, now he still reaches really high speeds, his light body makes him agile and elastic, he’s very strong and trouble-free, because of his size.
He came to my house with a great natural recall and innate retrieving. He isn’t interested in incentives like running dogs, riding bikes or cars. At work only I’m important for him and nothing else, he gives me a hundred percent. He has great motivation both for food and for toys, good will to please. The reward is also good word for him and the owner's joy. There is no problem working with a toy put away somewhere or without it. The main feature that you will notice when you meet Viper is his sensitivity to the emotions of the owner, the most important for him is my opinion and whether I AM satisfied. Responds well to corrections, doesn’t quench and lose motivation, but tries to fix his mistake. On competitions and mass events he can go into his kennel, relax and rest. He doesn’t pay attention to the sounds and barking of dogs coming from the center of the competition. He knows what means work time and rest time, doesn’t force me to make him busy, can take care of himself or simply go to bed. He can go only on forest walks all the week and will be satisfied, won’t do battlefield in my house, good on/off. He was very easy puppy and he is now also, I didn't have problems with him. He's not soft or hard dog, he's perfectly balanced for me.
Forventninger til kombinationen:
Vi forventer hunde med stabilt temperament, både hvad angår i hjemmet, med andre hunde og i arbejdssituationer! Begge forældre er ukomplicerede i hjemmet, samt lærenemme når de arbejder! Ikke kun forældrene er fyldt med både power og som hviler i sig selv, men også forfædrene har samme kvaliteter, og vi håber det vil fortsætte i linjen! Vi forventer disse hvalpe vil følge i deres forfædres fodspor; arbejde med høj intensitet, men samtidig pleasende overfor handler. Adrætte hunde som kan arbejde både med ekstension og collection af natur. Hunde som både er selvstændige og har nok selvtillid til at turde tage initiativ på egen hånd, men som samtidig ønsker at følge handler og kan rettes uden at miste arbejdsglæde. Hunde der kan blive ved med at arbejde og gentage øvelser igen og igen! Vi forventer hunde som kan hvile i sig selv i alle situationer, og med en god balance mellem arbejdshund og familie hund. Dog også en kombination hvor vi forventer hunde med meget power, som gerne vil arbejde med højt drive, og en kombination som egner sig til rutinerede hundefører.
